Teen Driver Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash South of Buffalo Tuesday

A young driver was injured in a two-vehicle traffic crash south of Buffalo Tuesday afternoon.

The State Patrol reports the crash happened around 4:15 PM Tuesday on Highway 25 and 29th Street Southeast in Rockford Township.

Authorities say a Jeep Compass SUV and a GMC full-size van were southbound when they collided at the intersection of 29th Street.

The driver of the Jeep vehicle, a 16-year-old female who was not identified by the State Patrol sustained injuries in the crash and was treated at Buffalo Hospital.

The driver of the GMC van, 46-year-old Mathias Jordan of Montrose, was not injured.

The Wright County Sheriff’s Office and Allina Ambulance assisted at the crash scene.
