A 10-year-old child died Monday morning when the bicycle he was riding was struck by a vehicle in the City of Becker.
Commander Ben Zawacki with the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that the incident happened near the intersection of Brenda Boulevard and Edgewood Street. No additional information regarding the incident was given. Authorities say that the boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials say the driver of the vehicle involved remained on the scene and is cooperating with authorities.
The names of the victim and the driver have not yet been released as the investigation continues.
