The Wright County communities of Annandale and Delano continue to celebrate the nation’s independence with summer celebrations this weekend.
In Annandale today (Saturday), events include the Firecracker 5K, sports tournaments, the kiddie parade, kid’s tractor pull, fun at the carnival, and bingo will again be hosted by the Boy Scouts. This evening, there’s Music in the Park with Lake County Jazz Collective, and Brownies With the Band hosted by the All-Nite Grad Party.

Meanwhile in Delano, Saturday activities include the car and bike show, bean bag and pickleball tournaments, the Market in the Park, a wristband day at the carnival, bingo in the park, sports tournaments, a street art festival, firefighter’s waterball, Legion baseball, and thoughout the day, music will be provided by Singleton Street, Montroe Crossing, Kismet Rendezvous, the Roe Family Singers, and the Jason Paulson Band. Tonight (Saturday) at the Main Stage Tent, it’s the 70s Magic Sunshine Band at 6 PM, and The HYPE at 8:30.
