A two-vehicle traffic crash in Buffalo on New Year’s Eve morning resulted in minor injuries.
Buffalo Police Chief Pat Budke reports that around 10:20 AM Tuesday, a Chevrolet Silverado pickup collided with a Nissan commercial van at the intersection of Highway 25 and 14th Street Northeast.
The crash report indicates that the pickup was northbound, and was making a left turn onto 14th Street Northeast. The truck reportedly turned on a blinking yellow arrow in front of the southbound van which had a green light, and the vehicles collided in the intersection.
The driver of the pickup was a 33-year-old man from Buffalo, and the driver of the van was a 72-year-old man from Waverly. Both drivers were evaluated by Allina Ambulance workers on the scene, but neither required hospital transport. The names of the drivers were not released.
Authorities say the driver of the pickup truck was cited for Failure to Yield.
