Final Days for Wright County Historical Society Festival of Trees

We’re in the final days of the annual Festival of Trees at the Wright County Historical Society.

All through the holidays, thousands of visitors have marveled at the wide variety of decorated trees and wreaths at the Heritage Center.

Geoff Welles, Outreach and Education Coordinator with the Wright County Historical Society says the display is filled with brightly decorated holiday trees and wreaths…

“I think we’re at 89, which I believe is one more than last year, which is kind of the goal to sneek one more in….someplace if possible, each year. But the wreaths for sure is going to be a continuing part of the program.”

Welles says this year’s display has drawn huge numbers of visitors, with interactive opportunities to vote for their favorites…

“Amazing…the amount of people who have come in. Repeat visitors, new visitors, those who have been donating, all the Wright County Departments and their wreaths…”

Admission to the 2024-25 Festival of Trees is free. Today’s (Friday) hours are 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Saturday is the final day of viewing from 9 AM to 3 PM.

The Wright County Historical Society is located at 2001 Highway 25 North in Buffalo.
