A Wright County man was injured in a single-vehicle traffic crash Friday evening in northern Minnesota.
The State Patrol reports that shortly after 7 PM, a Ford pickup was northbound on Highway 169 from Hibbing to Mountain Iron.
Officials say the truck went out of control on the snowy and icy roadway, running off the road to the right near milepost 357, and hit a diamond marker sign in the right ditch.
The driver of the pickup, 28-year-old Alan Nelson of Delano, sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated at the Essentia Health Hospital in Virginia.
Essentia EMS assisted at the scene.
