Wright-Hennepin Encourages High School Juniors to Apply for 2025 D-C Trip

Wright-Hennepin Cooperative Electric Association is seeking high school juniors to apply for a chance to attend a weeklong, all-expenses-paid leadership opportunity.

The annual National Rural Electric Cooperative Association Youth Tour will be held in Washington D-C June 16th through the 21st.

The NRECA Youth Tour brings together more than 18 hundred high school students from around the country. Attendees will spend a week visiting historical sites, making new friends, and enjoying once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to meet with Minnesota’s political representatives. Students will learn firsthand about local and national government, and how electric cooperatives across the U-S are affected by today’s political decisions.
