The American Lung Association is out with its annual “State of Tobacco Control” report, and spokeswoman Pat McKone says the results for Minnesota are mixed…
“Our smoke-free air law gets an “A,” and our access to services that help people stop smoking is, called access to cessation services,s also gets an “A.” We’re doing ok with a tobacco tax. We got a “B” in that category.”
Minnesota received failing grades in funding state tobacco prevention programs and ending the sale of all flavored tobacco products.
