We’re nearing the halfway point in the Minnesota Foodshare March Campaign.
Operations Director Megan Young says you can feel good about making a food and / or monetary donation as 100 percent of the donations go toward stocking the shelves and day-to-day operations…
“For that food shelf to exist, there are overhead costs. They have staff, refrigerators, proper storage, and a facility. Without all of that, they could not distribute the food that they do have. So a financial donation also goes to support that work as well.”
The March campaign helps stock and support nearly 300 food shelves around the state.
