A truck driver from Litchfield was injured over the weekend when strong winds overturned his semi in northwestern Minnesota.
The State Patrol reports that around 6:45 AM Saturday, an eastbound semi on Minnesota Highway 2 was overturned by strong cross winds in East Grand Forks in Polk County. Authorities say that the semi tipped onto its passenger side.
The driver of the semi, 20-year-old Braden Connor of Litchfield suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash and was treated at the Altru Medical Center in East Grand Forks.
The East Grand Forks Police and Fire Departments and Altru EMS assisted State Troopers at the scene.
