Minnesotans have less than sixty days to apply for and get a new REAL ID.
AAA Spokesperson Brynna Knapp says it’s important you don’t sleep on the deadline as a lot of important activities will require it…
“So it is your ticket to board a domestic flight and also access to certain federal facilities like military bases, nuclear facilities or other federal buildings that require that identification.”
The deadline to get your REAL ID is May 7th. Full information on obtaining a REAL ID can be found on the Minnesota Department of Motor Vehicles website.
