The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a number of property damage incidents, break-ins, and suspicious persons report in recent days in the City of Dassel.
Meeker County Sheriff Brian Cruze reports that from April 12th through the 14th, 12 calls were received by his office related to incidents in Dassel. The sheriff says many businesses in the downtown area were damaged, along with a vehicle on the south end of town. Some of the damage included broken windows and damage to doors from attempted break-ins.
Deputies reportedly gathered evidence at multiple locations, and are currently searching for surveillance video. Anyone with video footage or further information related to any of the incidents is encouraged to call the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities say information may also be left anonymously on the department’s confidential tip-line at (320) 693-5411.
