The road construction season is getting underway throughout the state and here in Wright County.
Unfortunately, the season coincides with the start of the spring and summer travel season.
Officials with the Minnesota Department of Transportation remind you to be aware of work zones, and the construction crews that are working them…
“Safety is our biggest priority. Work zones are ramping up across the state. You know, everybody, please slow down. Slowing down isn’t just about you know, this slowing down part. It’s about everybody traveling the same speed through that work zone. It helps a lot.”
MnDOT spokesman J.P. Gillach.
Wright County drivers will currently encounter three state road projects, on I-94 near Albertville, Highway 55 in Annandale, and Highway 12 in Howard Lake.
