Wright County Unemployment in March Unchanged From February

Wright County’s unemployment rate last month was unchanged from the previous month.

New statistics from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development shows Wright County’s non-seasonally adjusted jobless rate in March was 4.1 percent, unchanged from the month of February.

The March 2025 rate compares to a 3.6 percent rate during the same period last year, and a 3.5 percent rate during March of 2023.

Wright County’s labor force last month was measured at more than 85 thousand 700 workers. The local available labor force has been over 85 thousand for 8 of the last 10 months.

Minnesota’s seasonally adjusted jobless rate in March was 3.1 percent, up a tenth of a point from February, while the seasonally adjusted U-S unemployment rate last month was 4.2 percent, also up a tenth from the previous month.
