One driver was injured when three vehicles collided late Wednesday afternoon in the City of Litchfield.
The State Patrol reports that just before 5 PM Wednesday, a Toyota passenger car and a Chevy pickup were southbound on Highway 22, while a Chrysler mini-van was northbound. The vehicles collided at the intersection with 230th Street in Litchfield.
The driver of the Toyota sedan, 73-year-old Nancy Putzier of Litchfield suffered non-life threatening injuries and was treated at the Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield.
The driver and lone occupant of the Chevrolet pickup, 19-year-old Ethan Lee of Litchfield was not injured.
The driver of the Chrysler mini-van, 47-year-old Dennis Kuhnau of Litchfield and three children, ages 10, 9 and 7 who were passengers in the van, all escaped injury.
The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, the Litchfield Fire Department, and Mayo Ambulance assisted State Troopers at the scene.
