A longtime educator and athletic coach from our area passed away in recent days.
Bruce Bogenrief of Watertown passed away April 24th at the age of 78.
Bruce held education degrees from St. Cloud State, the University of Minnesota, and St. Thomas. He began his teaching and school administration career in the Catholic Schools in Delano and Excelsior. He later went on to Watertown-Mayer High School where he was a part of the faculty for more than 30 years, where he also was involved in coaching.
Bruce was also a veteran of the U-S Army Reserves.
Private family services are planned for Bruce Bogenrief. Memorials may be sent to the family at 44 Riverside Terrace in Watertown.
