The Wright County Highway Department is reminding local motorists that bridge demolition will be happening this weekend in the Albertville area.
Redstone Construction has been chosen by MnDOT to be in charge of the project to demolish the current bridge at I-94 over CSAH 19. The work will require a weekend closure of CSAH 19.
The detour of CSAH 19, or LaBeaux Avenue NE is expected from 10 PM on Friday, May 9th to 5 AM Monday, May 12th.
For four weeks starting on or about Thursday, May 15, lane shifts of north and southbound lanes of CSAH 19 at the I-94 bridge will begin, and traffic will be reduced to one lane in either direction for bridge construction.
