For the first time, family childcare providers in Minnesota can take advantage of the Department of Ag’s Farm to School food program.
Farm to Institution Coordinator Kate Seybold says providers should keep an eye out for when to apply for next year…
“They can submit their intent to participate in this. We let them know what their award would be and then they submit receipts and we’ll reimburse them for it. So this year we launched that local top cost share in January. So just providers can keep an eye out for that.”
