Softball.

STMA 9, Hopkins 4. Callan Wagner after hitting a walk off home run to defeat Minnetonka on Monday, stayed hot at the plate with another Home Run and five RBIs.

Callan Wagner, #15 on right, hit her second home run of the week in the Knights 9-4 win over Hopkins.

Big Lake 10, Monticello 8. Josie Ordorff and Paige Flanagan homered for the Magic in the loss.

Howard Lake WW 5, Providence 4. The Lakers scored the game winning run in the top of the ninth.

Dassel-Cokato 7, Delano 6.

Kimball 13, Annandale 2.

Baseball.

STMA 4, Minnetonka 3. Tyler Haring reached base on an infield hit to walk off the Skippers on Friday afternoon at STMA. Jake Musgjard hit a two-run homer in the first to get the Skippers off to a 2-0 lead, but the Knights answered right back with a Taylon Siens triple to cut the lead to 2-1 and the tone was set for a fantastic game between two top 10AAAA teams in the state.

Delano defeated Providence behind Nate Nielson who shot a career low 35 to finish with par for the Tigers.

Monticello 13, Rocori 4. Addison Kiphuth had a hat trick in the Magic win.

Baseball.

STMA picked up two big Section wins at Brainerd, defeating the Warriors 9-5 and Moorhead 8-0.

Softball.

Moorhead 5, STMA 4. The Spuds walked off the Knights on Saturday in Moorhead. The Knights were led at the plate by Becca Odlund who went 3-4 with a double and three RBI’s for STMA.

Boys Lacrosse.

Buffalo 14, Chaska 11. Owen Lange and Blake Beckman each scored four goals in the Bison win.

Moorhead 12, STMA 4.

Monday, May 12th.

Baseball.

Annandale 3, Rockford 1. Behind six strikeouts from Andrew Politte in six plus innings, the Cards upset the defending Class AA Champs by scoring two runs in the top of the seventh at Rockford on Monday.

Dassel-Cokato 5, Litchfield 4. Eli Dahlheimer picked up the win on the mound for the Chargers in their rivalry win over the Dragons.

Monticello 13, Zimmerman 1. Easton Peters went 3-3 at the plate with a double, and home run while driving in three for the Magic.

Glencoe SL 10, Howard Lake  WW 2.

STMA 4, St. Cloud 2.

Softball.

Rockford 2, Annandale 0. Lily Bury struck out fourteen in the Rockets win.

Delano 11, Monticello 2. Josi Ordorff hit a two run home run for the only two Magic runs.

Dassel-Cokato 8, Litchfield 0.

STMA 7, Wayzata 2. Kendra Behrens went 2-3 at the plate with a double and four RBI’s and also picked up the win in the circle including eight strikeouts.

Edina 12, Buffalo 2.

Delano 13, Southwest Christian 9. Joe McCabe scored four goals and added two assists as the Tigers held of a furious Stars rally in the second half.

Tuesday, May 13th.

Track and Field.

WCC Conference Meet.

Annandale took home nine all conference awards as the Girls finished second and the boys finished third. All conference athletes from Annandale that all took first place in their events were Sal Wirth (800/1600), Emiry Wirth (3200), Nate Klatt (Discus), Rylee O’ Konek (100 meters), Darius Alston (110 hurdles), Elia Happe (100 meters), and the 4×200 relay team of (Claire Thompson, Adelyn Johnson, Kate Neuman and Happe.) The Delano girls finished first, while the boys finished second.

The Delano Girls Track and Field team, above, took first place in the WCC meet on Tuesday.

Sal Wirth, above, took home both the 1600 and 3200 Conference Championships in the WCC Meet on Tuesday.

Monticello 7, Chisago Lakes 2. Cale Holthaus went 2-4 with two RBI’s in the Magic win.

The Delano Tigers baseball team picked up a home win over SW Christian on Tuesday night.

STMA 20, St. Cloud 2. Piper Peterson scored ten points in the win with seven goals and three assist for the Knights.

Delano advanced in Sections with a win vs. Coon Rapids.

Wed, May 14th.

Baseball.

Litchfield swept Annandale 2-0, and 9-6. In the second game the Dragons put up five in the fifth to rally to the victory. The big blow came off the bat of Alex Estrada who hit a three run home run for Litchfield in that inning. Brandon Cooper went 3-4 with two RBI’s in the Cards loss.

New London Spicer sweeps Dassel-Cokato, 7-1, and 9-2.

Maple Grove 5, STMA 2.

Buffalo 7, Hopkins 3.

Softball.

STMA 16, Buffalo 1. Kendra Behrens stayed hot at the plate with a 2-2 day with a double and two RBI’s as the Knights blitzed the Bison.

Annandale swept Litchfield in a double header, 5-2 and 5-4.

Delano 9, Hutch 0.

Boys Tennis.

Becker defeated Buffalo 4-3 in the quarterfinals of Section 8AA.

Thursday, May 15th.

Girls Lacrosse.

Buffalo 12, STMA 10. The Bison won a tight one over STMA on Thursday night as Hattie Toussaint and Bailey Mischke each scored three goals. Piper Peterson scored five goals in the loss for STMA.

Monticello 13, Brainerd 9.

Delano 12, Holy Family 4.

Boys Lacrosse.

Delano 9, Holy Family 2.

Baseball.

STMA 10, Sartell 1. In a critical game for Section 8AAAA seeding the Sabers jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first inning, but after that it was all Knights! Grady Johnson hit a double in the third to give the Knights a 2-1, and they never looked back, it was one of two doubles on the day for Johnson.

Buffalo 10, Monticello 3. Aiden Marconett picked up the win on the mound for Buffalo.

Howard Lake WW split a doubleheader with Norwood Young America, losing the first game, 3-2, then bouncing back with a 6-1 win.

Softball.

Howard Lake WW swept Norwood Young America, 4-3 and 10-5.

St. Cloud 6, Monticello 1.
