As the Memorial Day holiday weekend winds down, roads throughout the state and here in Wright County are expected to be crowded as holiday travelers head home.
MnDOT’s Anne Meyer says drivers need to keep in mind that there are a lot of work zones already in place throughout the state…
“We just want motorists to be aware that we have work zones around the state — to be aware there may be some lane closures, detours, and things like that as we continue to do work. Some work will not be going on in those work zones but that doesn’t mean we can just open up all lanes of traffic. In some cases, we do have to keep lane closures up or detours just because of the work being done.”
