Montrose Woman Suffers Life-threatening Injuries in Three Vehicle Crash in Franklin Township

A young woman from Montrose was seriously injured in an early evening crash Monday in Franklin Township.

The State Patrol reports that just after 5 PM Monday, a Lexus passenger car was eastbound on Highway 12 when it collided with a GMC pickup that was stopped to turn north onto Aetna Avenue. The impact of the crash resulted in the GMC pickup also colliding with a Ford F150 pickup that was westbound on Highway 12.

The driver of the GMC pickup, 35-year-old Laura Hoiland of Montrose, sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. The State Patrol reported that Hoiland was not using a seat belt.
