Work on the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad crossing in Big Lake has forced a closure and detour on Highway 25 in that community this week.
Highway 25 is closed between Pleasant Avenue and Putnam Avenue East. MnDOT says motorists should plan for a detour and short-term delays through at least June 6th.
The signed detour will direct motorists around the closure via Highway 10 and Sherburne County Road 17, or 20th Street.
Officials say crews hope to have the work completed by 7 PM this Friday, June 6th weather permitting.
