Work is underway as weather allows on CSAH 12 in the City of Montrose this week.
The Wright County Highway Department says this week, street pavement milling and adjustment to all catch basin castings along with spot concrete repairs are scheduled, along with lowering of all manhole and gate valve castings to the milled street grade.
June 9th and 10th, replacement of sanitary sewer manholes between 3rd Street North and Charity Lane is scheduled forcing a detour along Co. Rd. 107, CSAH 12, and Hwy 12. Officials say CSAH 12 is expected to be reopened to traffic on June 11; however, the street will still be under construction and traffic delays should be expected. Alternative routes are recommended.
The first two lifts of asphalt pavement on CSAH 12 are scheduled for June 11th through the 13th.
During the week of June 16, the manholes and gate valve castings are scheduled to be raised to the finished grade, followed by the final lift of asphalt pavement during the week of June 23rd.
