The weather in recent days hasn’t exactly been the greatest for swimming, but the Wright County Parks and Recreation Department has announced that the beach at Collinwood County Park near Cokato has been re-opened for swimming.
You may recall that the beach area was closed briefly in recent days due to the detection of high bacteria levels during routine water sampling.
Officials say follow-up testing determined that the bacteria levels have returned to normal, and swimming is once again safe at Collinwood Lake.
