One Driver Injured in Two-Vehicle Traffic Crash in Elk River Tuesday

One driver was injured when two vehicles collided Tuesday afternoon in the City of Elk River.
The State Patrol reports that around 3:10 PM, a Chevrolet Malibu and a Nissan Sentra were both westbound on U-S Highway 10 near Highway 169 in Elk River when they collided.
The driver of the Chevy sedan, 73-year-old Michael Wallin of Elk River, sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.
The driver of the Nissan passenger car, 67-year-old Doris Kaykay of Otsego, was not injured.
The Elk River Police and Fire Departments, and the Elk River Ambulance assisted State Troopers.
