Schools across Minnesota have spent time in recent days coming up with action plans to provide fresh and healthier foods during the school year.
Kate Seybold with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture says the program is called the Minnesota Farm to School Institute…
“They develop a farm to school action plan with goals for the next school year. And then after the summer when school is back in session, these teams with support from a coach will then implement that action plan over the next school year.”
The project was developed through the Agriculture and Education departments.
