The Wright County Parks & Recreation Department has announced a closure today (Thursday) of the east public access on Maple Lake due to the removal of a tree hazard.
Any boaters wishing to access the lake today (Thursday) are asked to use the main Highway 55 access.
Officials say this is expected to be a one-day project and closure.
