A Corcoran couple was injured early Tuesday afternoon in a single-vehicle traffic crash in north central Minnesota.
The State Patrol says around 12:45 PM Tuesday, a Ford F150 pickup was northbound on Highway 46 in Itasca County when the driver suffered a medical emergency, and lost consciousness. The pickup reportedly ran off the road and struck a tree.
The driver of the vehicle, 67-year-old William McGarry, and a passenger, 69-year-old Jean McGarry, both from Corcoran, sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash. Both were treated at the Essentia Deer River Hospital.
The Itasca County Sheriff’s Office, Northome Fire Department, and the Essentia Deer River Ambulance were also called to the scene.
