Two people were injured late Saturday morning when a passenger car collided with a three-wheel, open-air roadster vehicle.
The State Patrol reports the crash happened around 11:35 AM Saturday on Highway 10 in Elk River. Officials say a Toyota Camry was westbound on Highway 10, while a Polaris Polstar Slingshot was eastbound when the vehicles collided at Upland Avenue.
The driver of the Slingshot, 55-year-old Joseph Schlangen, and a passenger, 52-year-old Amy Schlangen, both from Clear Lake, sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash and were treated at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.
The driver of the Toyota sedan, 21-year-old Abigail Kohout of Elk River, was not injured.
The Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office, and the Elk River Police, Fire and EMS Departments assisted the State Patrol.
