A person who bought a Minnesota Lottery Gopher 5 ticket at a St. Michael supermarket for last Friday’s drawing is nearly 330-thousand dollars richer.
The Minnesota Lottery confirms that a shopper at The Marketplace in St. Michael bought the lone winning ticket with the numbers 1-7-22-26 and 29, earning them $329,553.
The holder of the winning ticket has one year to claim the prize at the Minnesota Lottery headquarters in Roseville. The names of people who win lottery prizes of more than 10-thousand dollars are typically kept private unless the winner opts to let their name be announced.
Lottery officials say the odds of winning the Gopher 5 jackpot are around 1-in-1 million, 534 thousand.
