A special event is scheduled for tonight (Wednesday) in Buffalo to help with medical bills for an incoming Buffalo High School senior who has been very active for several years with local theater organizations, and the theater department at BHS.
Avery Russek, daughter of Pat and Jill Russek, has had several medical challenges from a young age to present. She is currently recovering from a recent abdominal tumor removal. Though she is feeling better, and is very optimistic, she still faces treatment every three weeks that could last anywhere from six months to potentially a lifetime.
To celebrate Avery’s strength and to help with finances, “Avery’s Rave” is planned for tonight at Hayes’ Public House in downtown Buffalo. The event will include a grilled food dinner, silent auction, variety show with live music, face painting and more.
The event is scheduled from 5 to 9 PM. Any support from the public is greatly appreciated.
