Nearly every corner of our region is busy with community festivals and other stand-alone events this weekend.
Kimball
Kimball Days concludes today (Sunday) in Kimball, but not before more great events including the Lions pancake and sausage breakfast, a disc golf tournament, car show at the high school, adult bingo, a pet nail trim special, and the Kimball Legion meat raffle.
Rockford
Rockford’s 2025 River Days celebration concludes today, but plenty of activities are available before the wrap-up. Events include an ecumenical church service, the River Days Marketplace, the Lions shredded beef sandwiches at the park building, a beer garden and food booths, a new axe throwing event for adults, the Grande Parade beginning at 12 noon, remote control cars, the Boy Scout mobile race, a visit from the Vikings mascot, VIKTOR the Viking, and the annual quilt raffle.
Other Sunday Events
The Buffalo FFA and FFA Alumni welcomes visitors to the “Sunflower Experience” at the Buffalo High School campus. Visitors can walk through 3 acres of sunflowers for fun and photo-ops from 3 to 7 PM. A 5 dollar per person donation is suggested to support FFA scholarships and events.
While many events are wrapping up, some are just getting ready to go. The community of Cokato will welcome residents and visitors to the annual Cokato Corn Carnival beginning Monday and continuing through Wednesday.
