One person died as the result of a mobile home fire in Corcoran early Thursday.
Officials with the Corcoran Police were initially called around 1:45 AM to a fire at a mobile home in the Maple Hills Estates.
The Rogers Fire Department responded, but reportedly found that neighbors had helped ahead of their arrival battling the flames with garden hoses.
A man was taken from the home. Reports indicate that he was later pronounced dead at an area hospital. The man’s name has not yet been released.
Two officers with the Corcoran Police were also treated for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
