Area voters are reminded that Wright County Elections will be open for early voting in the Minnesota Senate District 29 primary today (Saturday) from 9 AM to 3 PM.
The Republican primary will narrow the field from three candidates to one for the general election on November 4th. There is only one declared DFL candidate for the Senate seat.
Voters should visit the Taxpayer Services Counter on the first floor of the Wright County Government Center to cast a ballot.
Wright County Elections will also be open until 5 PM Monday for early voting.
Voters who have received an absentee ballot in the mail are encouraged to return their ballot in-person at the Wright County Government Center to ensure that the ballot is counted.
The vacancy for the District 29 Minnesota Senate seat occurred with the unexpected passing of longtime State Senator Bruce Anderson of Buffalo.
