Work is scheduled to begin today (Monday) on CSAH 40 (160th St NW) between the Clearwater River and Highway 24 in Clearwater Township as part of the Wright County 2025 Pavement Preservation Contract.
The work will include full depth pavement removal by milling, the construction of new bituminous pavement, placing shouldering material along the edges of the roadway and painting new pavement marking on the highways.
The road will remain open while most of the work is done. Traffic will be directed by flaggers near and through the work zones. Travelers can expect minor delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes on County Road 128 to the south and County Road 145 to the north if possible.
Questions on the project may be directed to Construction Engineer Matt Messerly at (651) 627-4386, or via email at; matthew.messerly@wrightcountymn.gov.
