One Rider Injured When Two Motorcycles Collide in Neighboring Meeker County

One motorcyclist was injured when two cycles collided Saturday morning in neighboring Meeker County.

The State Patrol reports that around 9:15 Saturday morning, two Harley Davidson cycles were southbound on Highway 24 when they collided at Milepost 13 in Kingston Township.

One rider, 67-year-old Edwin Jostock of Rochester, sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated at the Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield. Officials say Jostock was not wearing a helmet.

The other motorcyclist involved, 79-year-old Lawrence Sorenson of Bloomington, was not injured.

The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, Kimball Fire Department, and the Watkins Ambulance responded to the scene.
