MN Sheriffs’ Association Honors Members of Wright County Jail Team

The Wright County Sheriff’s Office is congratulating two members of the Wright County Jail team who were recently recognized by the Minnesota Sheriffs’ Association at the annual Jail Administrator Conference and Awards Banquet.

Corrections Officer Jacob Scheierl was given the honor of Correctional Officer of the Year. Officer Scheierl is credited for his dedication to improving operations, strong communitcation with inmates and quick actions that according the the Sheriff’s Office, likely saved a life.

Pastor David Hibbison was awarded as Jail Volunteer of the Year for his countless hours spent supporting inmates through in-house programs.

The Minnesota Sheriffs’ Association provides training, networking and professional development for leaders who oversee county jails across the state.
