The Minnesota Ag Department has announced that grant funding is available for a pair of programs aimed at improving farm safety.
Grant administrator Allison Beauregard says grant funding can be used to improve the safety of grain storage bins or retrofit tractors with rollover protection…
“The grain storage grants cover 75% of costs, up to a $400.00 Max reimbursement per bin. The ROPS program covers 70% of the cost, but has a $500 Max out of pocket for the farmer.”
