A woman from our area was injured Saturday morning in a traffic crash in Mille Lacs County.
The State Patrol reports that just before 10 AM Saturday, two SUVs collided on Highway 23 and Wall Avenue in Borgholm Township.
Officials say a Ford Escape was eastbound on Highway 23 when a Jeep Grand Cherokee attempted to cross Highway 23, and crossed into the path of the oncoming Ford SUV, and the vehicles collided.
Injured in the crash was the driver of the Ford SUV, 62-year-old Kathie Robideau of Big Lake. Robideau sustained non-life threatening injuries, and was taken to M Health Fairview Northland Medical Center in Princeton for treatment.
The driver of the Jeep SUV, 83-year-old Robert Collison of Milaca, was not injured.
The Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Office, Milaca Fire, and North Memorial Ambulance assisted the State Patrol.
