Family, friends and community members will remember a well-known Albertville man at a funeral Mass today (Monday) in Albertville.
Wayne Kolles passed away October 5th at the age of 78.
Wayne and his wife, Mary Lou made their home in the St. Michael-Albertville area, and raised their family of eight children in the community.
Wayne had a strong work ethic, beginning his career at Land O’ Lakes creamery, while helping on the family farm. He later became self-employed by running a dairy service business specializing in the installation and service of Surge milking equipment.
He also was a dedicated employee of Truss Manufacturing, South Side True Value, and DJ’s Ace Hardware.
Wayne was also a devoted member of the Church of St. Albert, and served as a cantor alongside his wife, who was a pianist at the church, for some 53 years.
The Mass of Christian Burial for Wayne Kolles is planned for today (Monday) at St. Albert’s Catholic Church of Albertville.
