The harvest season in Wright County is entering its final phases.
With a few recent exceptions, weather in October has been generally favorable for harvest as U of M Extension Crop Specialist Taylor Herbert outlines…
“Recently we’ve had a little bit of the breaks in the rain and the weather, but there for a couple of weeks or so it seemed like every day was really going hard. Soybeans went out really quick. There’s really only a handful of fields that are left. Corn is maybe a little bit less than half way.”
Herbert says so far, most yield reports have been in the average range for both soybeans and corn.
