Five Injured in Two-Car Crash Sunday Afternoon in Meeker County

Five people were sent to the hospital with injuries after two vehicles collided Sunday afternoon in neighboring Meeker County.

The State Patrol reports that just before 5 PM, a GMC pickup was northbound on Highway 22 in Harvey Township, while a Jeep SUV was southbound. Officials say the vehicles collided near milepost 149.

Injured in the crash was the driver of the pickup, 34-year-old Amelia Woolard of Litchfield. She sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated at the Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield.

The driver of the Jeep Cherokee, and three passengers also had non-life threatening injuries. 38-year-old James Bollin, and 39-year-old Mary Bollin, along with a 14-year-old female and an 8-year-old male, all of Litchfield, were also treated at the Litchfield Hospital.

The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office and the Litchfield Fire and Rescue assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
