Minnesota soybean farmers could soon be selling their crops to China again.
Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach says President Trump is lowering tariffs, and China is expected to start buying U-S soybeans…
“I’m very excited about the announcement on beans and I know that we are going to hear more later. But it is great news for the farmers, for the region. We’re a biggest exporter of soybeans and North Dakota and South Dakota our region.”
China did not purchase U-S soybeans so far this fall due to the tariffs. Minnesota farmers still have millions of bushels.
