Thanksgiving drivers are paying similar prices for fuel in 2025 as they did last year.
AAA reports that the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded is about $2.91 throughout the state, compared to $2.86 a year ago.
The average price in the Twin Cities region, which includes Wright County is $3.07 per gallon, which is up from $2.93 a month ago, and up from $2.90 a year ago.
In parts of Wright County however, a good old-fashioned gas war appears to be on with a few stations in the eastern part of the area posting gas prices as low as the $2.70 range.
The national average this Thanksgiving is $3.04 per gallon, compared to $3.06 per gallon last year.
