The American Red Cross says blood donations during the month of December are critical to Minnesota’s blood supply, as well as throughout the U-S.
December is observed as National Month of Giving, and your Red Cross blood or platelet donation can bring hope and healing.
Officials say that even regular blood donors can get sidetracked during the busy holiday season, which makes it all the more important for everyone to carve out some time to donate.
Sue Thesenga with the Red Cross says December 8th through the 18th, those who come to give will receive a $15 Amazon Gift Card by mail. Those who give between December 19th and January 4th will receive an exclusive Red Cross long-sleeved T-shirt while supplies last.
