Saturday Traffic Crash in St. Michael Leaves Two Injured

Two people were injured Saturday evening in a two-vehicle crash in St. Michael.

The State Patrol reports that the crash happened shortly before 7 PM at Highway 241 and Larabee Avenue in St. Michael.

Authorities say a Toyota SUV that was southbound on Larabee Avenue, collided with a Jeep Gladiator that was eastbound on Highway 241. The vehicles collided in a T-bone fashion at the intersection.

The driver of the Toyota SUV, 40-year-old Derrick Guerrero of St. Michael sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash and was treated at the Monticello Hospital. A passenger in the SUV, 39-year-old Jessica Guerrero of St. Michael, was not injured.

The driver of the Jeep vehicle, 46-year-old Laura Kukral of St. Michael, was treated for non-life threatening injuries at the Monticello Hospital.

The Wright County Sheriff’s Office, the St. Michael Fire Department, and Allina Ambulance assisted at the scene.
