A woman from the Twin Cities was injured Tuesday morning in an SUV vs. semi crash in neighboring Sherburne County.
The State Patrol reports that around 7:15 AM Tuesday, a semi-truck was eastbound on Highway 10 in Haven Township, and was making a left turn. A Ford SUV was westbound on Highway 10 when the vehicles collided at the intersection of Birch Court Southeast.
The driver of the SUV, 36-year-old Allyssa Freund of St. Paul sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash and was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the semi, a 48-year-old man from McAllen, Texas, was not injured.
The Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office, St. Cloud Police and Fire, MnDOT and a Mayo Ambulance team assisted State Troopers at the scene.
