Buffalo Man Escapes Injury in Saturday Morning Traffic Crash in Elk River

A Buffalo man escaped injury in a traffic crash in Elk River over the weekend.

The State Patrol reports that around 11:45 Saturday morning, a Nissan Titan pickup and a Dodge Caravan mini-van were both northbound on Highway 169 near Minnesota Highway 101 when they collided.

The driver of the Nissan pickup, 50-year-old Ryan Penaz of Buffalo was not hurt in the crash.

The driver of the mini-van, 40-year-old Evelyn Gebeh of Eden Prairie suffered non-life threatening injuries and was treated at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.

The Elk River Police and Fire Departments, and the Elk River Ambulance assisted at the scene.
