Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday for a well-known lifelong area resident. Dale Sieg passed away December 22nd at the age of 91.
Dale was born in Monticello and graduated with the Monticello High School Class of 1952. He was also a veteran of the U-S Army Reserves.
Dale and his wife, Carol raised their family in Rockford while he worked as a deliveryman for Ferguson Plumbing. Dale was also a 20-year volunteer fireman with the Rockford Fire Department, and worked as a Security Guard for Vikings games at the old Met Stadium.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM Saturday at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Monticello.
