State Representative Kristin Robbins, Republican from Maple Grove is scheduled to testify in Washington, D-C on Wednesday.
You’ll remember that Robbins and local State Representatives Marion Rarick and Walter Hudson testified before the U-S House Oversight Committee in Washington on the topic of fraud in funded programs in early January.
This time, Representative Robbins, who chairs the House Fraud Prevention Committee, will testify before the U-S Senate in a U-S Judiciary Subcommittee Hearing entitled; “Somali Scammers: Fighting Fraud in Minnesota and Beyond.” The subcommittee is in charge of oversight on federal courts, agency action and federal rights.
Robbins is expected to present prepared information as well as answer questions. Robbins is one of a dozen Minnesota Republicans also vying for the party endorsement as a candidate for governor in November.
